Recent Haiti Pics

Haiti has been the most recent place for our dresses and I sent 25 dresses there.I am really hoping to have more pictures.I love love seeing the little girls with them on..

Josi sent these dresses out and I must say she did an awesome job!She also sent note books for the kids and did a great job! Thank Josi xo

UGANDA!! I was told that the girls went to bed with their dresses on because they didn't want to take them off!

A few things are happening with Sew Gorgeous.We have recently sent out a small shipment that is on it's way(if not there yet)to Dominican Republic to a Haitian Refugee camp.Also we have established two new destinations for our dresses..One I am working on for Nov where they would be going to either a displacement camp in Haiti or an Orphanage I hold close to my heart where I fell in love with Haiti. Another most recent destination is Uganda and we will have some dresses going there on Friday! I really hope to get some photos to show you!

Next destination is approaching rapidly. Sept 7th the dresses will be going to a Haitian Refuge camp in Dominican Republic.We are very exciting to see them on their way to little deserving girls who I'm sure will be thrilled.I hope to have pictures of each time the girls receive the dresses and of course with them showing them off. I will post them on the blog when we receive photos. We are anticipating tags to go on the back inside of the dresses that would say 'You are Sew Gorgeous' I hope that with each dress these little girls will know that someone cares about them and wants them to feel special. 

 We are very open to having the dresses go anywhere around the world so if you or someone you know is going away on vacation or humanitarian work and would like to take some dresses we would be thrilled!

   Sew Gorgeous is progressing pretty rapidly which led me to create a blog to document our journey throughout the process of making the dresses and sending them to their destinations. We have several destinations coming up that we are very excited for Mexico,Dominican Republic and of course Haiti in October..Thanks to my good friends Josi Hewgill and Brittany Rogers our small team thus far has started something grand that will continue to get bigger as we go further with our dreams of making little girls smile and feel beautiful! 

We can only go so far though by ourselves and we continue to need pillow cases and sewing supplies for the dresses..We are hoping to have a fundraiser in the end of summer or beginning of fall to help raise money for sewing supplies..I will post when exactly that will be and hope to get a great turnout.. 

Please if you have anything sewing supplies etc.. to donate it will make a huge difference on how many dresses we can continue to get out to these precious little girls!
